Dock Diving and Flying

I have been to the Dock Diving competition and boy was I ever surprised.  So many dogs are a shy of the water just like me!   haha.   Glad to know I am not the only one.   whew.  I thought there was something wrong with me.

Many just went to the edge of the dock and just stayed there.

See me fly!  I bet no other dog can do this!!  haha

Yep I had a worm in me!!!

After that Interceptor deworming/ heartworm pill, I pooped out a long skinny worm maybe 2 inches long.  Wow.  That worm was sitting in my poop.   YUCK.   I don't like my own poop, so I don't know how this worm could stand it by sitting right in it.  The vet office called too saying they noted some eggs.    Well, now I am cleared up from those nasty worms!  I am happy about it.   And NO.  I am not going to show you another poop picture.  Bye Bye.

I am getting bigger

Yep I am eating soo well and pooping too.   But I don't know what is happening to me?   I am getting bigger! I was 7.5 lbs when I first arrived at my Masters, and now I am 12.4 llbs.  geeeee

My original crate is too small.

I have switched to a much bigger one, Pet Cargo 700, and woweee.   I love it sooooo much.  Very spacious and now I can jump around in it and wrestle with all my toys and rearrange the furniture.  I can make it look beautiful.

I even got another crate for traveling in the truck.

I am very lucky!!!

Vet Visit on Friday

Hey I went to visit the vet today.

My Vet at the Prince of Wales dog hospital

Vet's name was Dr. K. Holzman.  She was soooo kind to me.  She gave me a great check-up and I passed with flying colours.    She said I was very cute.  Hey hey hey,  I weighed in at 12.4 lls.   Not bad eh?

Rhonda the receptionist could not keep her hands off of me.  Sheesh.   She said she have never seen such a cute dog.   I did not know I was THAT cute.   Well well.  I bet I can use that to my advantage.

I had a big needle stuck in my left back side.   I hardly felt it as my Master was giving me some yummy treat.  I am told now that it was a booster.  Boy I would hate to have seen the first shots.

I got some deworming medicine and a shot for Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus and a new one Bortedella.   That last one sounds like some kind of Italian cheese.   I swear I did not eat any cheese.

They also gave me a puppy pack filled with cool things.   I got a new toy that looked like an octopus.  I also got a toothbrush and fur brush to make me look great.   I got a bunch of papers that I can't read.  I think that is for my Masters.  I hope they read them, because it is probably about what to do with me.

I booked a next visit for Saturday October 2.    I need one more set of shots and later on I hear I am getting a Rabies shot.   They will also microchip me and finally the big one!!!   They are going to fix me!   Fix me?   I did not know I was broken???    I wonder what will happen.   I will just have to wait to find out.  I hope it is as much fun as my visit today.

Yaaaah   I love going to the vet.

My Accomplishments!

Well it has been 3.5 weeks since I have been with my Masters and I have gone to 2 of 8 Kindergarden classes.  I weigh in at 12 lbs. too.  Wow 4.5 lbs since I left my brothers and sisters on August 14.  That is about 1. 28 lbs per week!!! holy hotdog...

I think my Masters are pretty proud of me.

1) I can sleep and hold my pee and poop for up to at least 8.5 hours.
2) I go pee and poop at the same place.
3) I can walk on a leash and stay beside my Masters on the left side.
4) I can walk without biting the leash.
5) I can walk and follow my Masters well without a leash
6) I can go to my Masters when they call "Come"
8) I can do pump, sitting and down repeated many times
9) I can "Take it" with a closed or an open fist in the seated or the down positions
10) I can "Give it"
11 I can "Leave it"
12) I am biting less it seems but I still get the urge.
13) I can play in my crate and have a riot.  I don't get bored there. I love my crate and look forward to chilling out there.
14) I have done the LONG DOWN many times with my Master beside me to start and with him a a chair beside me now.  I am getting good at it.   Yaaaah.
15) I know how to cross a doorway, by sitting, waiting until invited to cross and then sitting on the other side of the door.   I am a pro at this now.

ME in the Down Position!!!

Now I have to work on slowing down when I come home.  I am still pulling and that just slows us down when getting back home.

I also need to figure out how to play outside my crate when I am by myself.

I gotta figure out this STAY thing.

I don't like rain.  YUCK.  I try to get between my Master's legs to find shelter.  Not fair, they wear raincoats.

Me in the Sit Position!!!

What do you think of me???  HuH???

I am a pooping machine. Ha ha ha.

Yes I poop all day and I poop all night.  I think I poop 6 times a day.  All that yummy food I eat pops out the other end.  My masters pick it up with those great scented vanilla biodegradable bags from the dollar store.

The POOP SONG!!!  Well I am happy to know that I am not the only one pooping.  WE all do it!  Yaaaaah.

This is my poop!  It is a bit of a softy I am betting from all the junk I try to eat.

BTW I do peeing maybe 3 times as much as I poop.  Here I am peeing.   Wow it is a different position.

Practicing playing with people

Here I am trying to figure out what these 2 boys want with me?  They are my neighbours.

Hey it would be way better without a leash.  I love following the boys cool  plastic chain.

hmmm  I told you it is better without a leash.  I keep on telling them, but do you think they listen to me?  Looks like they did.  Yaaah...

yes  Chasing a ball around a pole.  Boy is that fun or what???

That chain again.   Wow if it would just be still.  I would jump it.  Waiting for the right moment to pounce on it.  Hang on.  I will get it.

I found something here.  Looks like one of those dandelions.   Do you think my Masters want this?  I love dandelions.  They are sooo yummy!   mmmm MMM.

Labour Day Sunday

Wow what a day! I am 10 weeks and 3 days old.  Me just taking it easy on one of my Master's laps.  Feels soo good to be a lap dog?   Hmmm.  Well I like it so don't bug me.

Relaxing in the sun by the Rideau River at the base of Hog's Back falls.  If you look carefully in the background you can see many waterbirds such as Great Blue Heron, mallards and cormorants.

More stair climbing  at the Rideau Canal.  It gives me a good work out I think.  I feel all dizzy when I get to the top and find it hard to breath.

I cross the Rideau Canal Locks too.  I am getting to be quite the walker!

Needing some help to make that first step on the lock wall.  Boy that is sure tall.

Love the scenery down this trail.  Lots of yummy smells.  Cant wait to get ahead here!

Hey The ground is hard and slippery here!   Feels like climbing a mountain.  Good thing I am tied to my master.

I am carrying a leaf that I found.   I love leaves.  There are so many of them.  It is sooo hard to choose the right ones.

Wow.  I am just getting practiced up for Hallowe'en.  I will be getting many tasty treats that day.  I have to be ready, because it only happens once a year!

What do you think about getting ready master? Is it a good idea?

"You can never be too well prepared" tells me my Master.

Archer meeting Dyson

Sounds like a big ticket match between two heavy weights champs.   Nope just Archer meeting a 10-month old puppy, Dyson.  The difference is Dyson is about 50 lbs to Archer's 10 lbs.  At puppy kindergarden,  Dyson is one class ahead of Archer.

Greetings between the 2 vizslas. Sizing each other up!

Let me at him now!!!

You had your chance.  Going for it now Dyson!!!

Put them up Dyson!!!  Upper cut to the right.

Is this the knock out punch?

I am sooo sorry Dyson!  Are you ok???  Call 911!!!
